I’m confused, is Hemp different than Marijuana?
Hemp, Cannabis, Pot, Weed, Dope, Marijuana, Bud. What’s the difference or is there even a difference?
Hemp and marijuana are, in fact, the same plant. All of the terms above mean the same thing but differences come about when referring to the potency level and where the terms are being use. The major difference is that hemp is a mixture of male and female cannabis plants, and its flowers produce less than 0.3% THC aka why it is called hemp-derived. It contains more Delta-9 and is federally legal in NC and many states. Over 0.3% THC is considered marijuana (not legal in NC).
- How are Hemp products legal in NC?
The 2018 Farm Bill allows Delta-9 THC derived from hemp that doesn’t exceed 0.3% THC threshold of net weight. A good way of thinking of it is that hemp (Delta-9 focused) is more of an agricultural term while marijuana (medical focused) more of a political term despite them both being the same cannabis plant.
Can anyone buy THC products from RHB at wholesale?
No, we only sell to established retail accounts. You must present proof of your business at each purchase.
Can I drink a hemp product and pass a drug test?
Passing a drug test all depends on consistency of consumption. If you drink one 5mg beverage and you are called to test in a month, you will most likely not show up as positive (there’s always a chance though!).
Will I feel anything from drinking them?
Yes! The effects are the same as any THC product so we highly advise new comers to drink Low and Slow. Start with a low mg dosage and wait for a full hour (at least) in order to feel the full effects before reaching for another. By starting Slow, you can always add more. These drinks will kick in faster than an hour but due to personal reasons (diet, sleep, alcohol consumption) the effect could take longer for some.
